This historic hotel has been totally transformed by Arkell's in 2016.
A grade 2 listed building, it was originally built in the 16th century as an important coaching inn, and was also home to a local brewery for a time. The courtyard still has its medieval brew house.
Located in the Wiltshire market town of Calne, the hotel is on the A4, and just 15 minutes from the M4.
With 25 rooms, all en suite, bar, restaurant & breakfast room, function & conference room, the Lansdowne is a wonderful place to eat, drink and be merry, with enticing open fires in the winter just calling for visitors to linger in the bar over a meal and a pint of real ale.
- 25 en-suite rooms
- 2 AA Rosette restaurant open for lunch and dinner
- bar & lounge
- private meeting & dining room
- wedding receptions
